THE WAiiT is a Neo-Psychedelia, fusing elements of Post punk, Grunge & World music.
Formed by Guitarist Frey Zhong and Bassist Lili Tseng. The band hires Evan Wang as a touring Drummer.
In winter of 2016, THE WAiiT released demos on thesixtyone, Sound Cloud, and Street Voice.
'Travel To Greenland' and 'Laugh At Phone' received great feedback online and their release was followed by a couple of Taiwan tours, including Not Bad Festival, Ironrose Festival, Spring Scream Festival, Winder Music Festival, Hohaiyan Rock Festival as well as Unlimited Freedom Festival.
Since the beginning of their tour, THE WAiiT has been recording and writing new songs. Tours in 2018 included Urban Nomad Opening Freakout Music Festival, Unconsciousness Guest House, and The Next Big Thing.
Yuchen studio released live session videos of Cheap Artist and Travel to Greenland on Youtube as well as Line Today in June 2019.
After that, THE WAiiT was invited to perform in Berlin in August.
THE WAiiT's debut album 'CHEAP ARTiST' was released in winter of 2020. Its release was followed by Sonik Philippines 2020.
